O2 Ireland Homepage Redesign

We completely overhauled the look and feel of one of Ireland’s most visited eCommerce & marketing destinations – the O2 homepage.

Our first task was to increase the number of items available on the homepage, offering improved access to customer support and loyalty benefits. Subtle page details give structure to the site, while allowing the content to come to the fore. Despite the increase in content, the site feels uncluttered and welcoming.

The page’s secret weapon is revealed in the redesigned site-nav. Stylish panels revealed on rollover contain uncluttered navigation and relevant marketing messages. Users can find their way to deep-lying site content in a single click. Each section’s navigation also contains useful links to relevant ‘help & information’ pages, and large static advertising panels, which drive online sales (and also look great).

The overall impression is of a highly functional site, with state-of-the-art navigation and production values.

Site implementation was handled brilliantly by O2’s internal development team.
